Summer sueños
The sun beat down on San José today while a warm breeze whisked through the trees. I was up early. The bright morning pierced my bedroom’s diaphanous curtains coaxing me out of bed. I followed my morning routine by brewing a strong pot of 1820 Costa Rican coffee, and then altered it a bit by standing in the garden with my face to the sky listening to the Clay-colored Robins.
It’s hard to believe that summer is almost here. The rainy season barely touched down this year. Today, early dreams of Caribbean and Pacific waters dominated my thoughts.
